Arkansas State Capitol: Offices, Exhibits and Tours

See where state legislatures write and pass laws and tour exhibits, monuments, memorials and artifacts at the Arkansas State Capitol. An historic architectural fixture, this popular attraction includes a number of permanent and revolving exhibits detailing the state's history and development. Free tours of the Capitol Building are offered weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Hours -

Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekends; Guided tours are available 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

  • Is public Wi-Fi available?

    The Arkansas State Capitol offers public wireless coverage in various parts of the building and grounds. Currently, Wi-Fi is available in the entire south side of the Capitol building; the first and second floors of the Rotunda; the basement in the Capitol Cafe and Election offices; and the basement in the Capitol Cafe.
  • What exhibits do they offer?

    The Capitol Buildings offers numerous permanent exhibits, including A Capitol in Progress, which details the building's architectural history. Guests can also tour several exhibits dedicated to the state's involvement in Major U.S. conflicts, along with various exhibits detailing Arkansas' industrial development.
